3.5+ Academy

There are a growing number of enthusiastic players in Scotland interested in playing competitive inter-club matches as well as regional, national and international tournaments. Our 3.5+ Academy provides the specific training these players need to develop their skills to an appropriate level.

3.5+ Academy training events cover key coaching topics, skills & drills training for achievement of better shots, plus structured game-play and assessment.
Core Skills Play Test
Our unique Core Skills Play Test helps players to assess and understand their range of abilities, strengths and weaknesses. It is an effective player development tool and is conducted 1-2-1 with a coach with each element recorded and objectively 'scored' according to our specialist Play Test Report algorithm; this gives players an accurate summary of their core skills from which an ongoing skills development plan is created so that progress can be made. The report also helps players measure and track their individual skills over time.

Pickleball skills, cardiovascular activity, music, and fun drills are combined in our coach-led Picklercise sessions. This unique format is a great way to exercise and it is suitable for anyone who enjoys recreational pickleball at any level of ability. Participants can get active whilst being social, improve health and wellbeing, increase their endurance levels and self-confidence on court, and develop useful pickleball skills in a friendly environment where laughter and learning are combined.

We also train and certify Picklercise facilitators who want to learn how to deliver this activity in their local communities around Scotland.
Pickleball for WellbeingTM
Pickleball for Wellbeing is a concept that has been developed for people who want to play cooperative, easy-going fun games, get out and get active, move a bit more, and improve their health and overall wellbeing whilst connecting with likeminded people.
Suitable for players of any ability level, Pickleball for Wellbeing offers the opportunity to participate on a non-competitive basis in a friendly, relaxed and inclusive session. It helps players gain a better understanding of the game, build confidence, make new friends, chat about pickleball activities, and experience the many positive benefits of playing pickleball in this way.

We also support and mentor Pickleball for Wellbeing facilitators who want to start delivering this activity in their local communities around Scotland.
